President
Howie Prawer leads SHEV Chair Manufacturing Company with extensive experience in the commercial seating and furniture industry. Through a strong understanding of manufacturing, product development, sales, and customer relationships, Howie has helped shape SHEV into a trusted resource for durable, thoughtfully designed seating. He remains closely involved throughout the business, working with customers, sales representatives, designers, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure that every product meets SHEV’s standards for quality, comfort, and performance. His hands-on leadership and deep industry knowledge allow the company to respond quickly to customer needs while continuing to develop new products and pursue new opportunities. Howie’s approach is centered on long-term relationships, dependable service, and an unwavering commitment to delivering seating solutions that customers can rely on.
Abe Bernstein
Director of Operations & Business Development
Abe Bernstein serves as Director of Operations & Business Development at SHEV Chair Manufacturing Company. He oversees day-to-day operations while helping lead business development, sales growth, customer relationships, and strategic initiatives across the company. Abe brings experience in commercial real estate finance, sales, procurement, and business operations, giving him a broad perspective on how to grow relationships, improve processes, and move projects forward efficiently. At SHEV, he works closely with customers, sales representatives, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to support the company’s continued growth and deliver a strong customer experience from initial inquiry through final delivery. Known for his practical, relationship-driven approach, Abe is focused on expanding SHEV’s market presence while strengthening the systems and operations behind the business.
Steve Farrar
Director Of Sales
Steve Farrar serves as Director of Sales for SHEV Chair and DuraCare Seating, bringing more than 35 years of experience in the office and contract furniture industry. Throughout his career, Steve has developed extensive expertise in sales, marketing, business development, and building long-term relationships with customers and industry partners. In his role, Steve leads the companies’ national sales efforts and works closely with representatives, dealers, designers, and clients across the senior living, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial furniture markets. His deep understanding of the industry allows him to help customers identify seating solutions that balance comfort, durability, functionality, and design. Steve’s experience, product knowledge, and relationship-focused approach have made him an important part of the continued growth of both SHEV Chair and DuraCare Seating.
Richard Perez
Operations & Logistics Coordinator
Richard Perez supports SHEV’s day-to-day operations and logistics, helping keep orders, inventory, and shipments organized and moving efficiently. His background includes team supervision, scheduling, client service, and hands-on warehouse and production experience, including product organization, labeling, palletizing, and shipping preparation. Richard brings a dependable, detail-oriented approach to the SHEV team and plays an important role in ensuring a smooth flow from production through delivery.
Rolando Perez
Warehouse Manager
Gaston (Rolando) serves as Warehouse & Dock Manager at SHEV Chair Manufacturing Company, overseeing the daily flow of products through the warehouse, from receiving and organization to final shipment. He plays a key role in coordinating deliveries, managing inventory, preparing orders, and ensuring that products are handled carefully and shipped accurately. Gaston also works closely with the operations team, warehouse staff, freight carriers, and delivery partners to keep orders moving efficiently and on schedule. Known for his hands-on approach, reliability, and attention to detail, Gaston helps ensure that every shipment leaves the warehouse properly prepared and ready to reach the customer in excellent condition.
